About Me

Who the hell am I?

This is a question I often ask myself.

I was a BBC radio journalist for a decade, ending up at Radio One Newsbeat where I was a reporter and news reader.  I even used to read the news for the legend that was (and still is) John Peel.

From 2000 to 2012 I ran my own audio production company, Media Mill, working mainly in the video games industry. If you’ve played games like Motorstorm, Little Deviants or Total War then you’ll have heard my work. I made funny noises for a living.

Writing has always been my passion as much as sound. I’ve been a freelance journalist for years and in 2005 wrote my first novel – Chosen. I self published it in 2008.

I wrote my second, The Veil, in 2010 and I’ve recently decided to self publish this directly to Kindle format..

I live in York in the north of England.
